Atlas Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS)

Terms & Conditions of Online Delivery

1. Booking, Fees & Payment Structure

1.1 Total Course Fee: The total fee for the Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS) course is £190.00.

1.2 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of £90.00 is required at the time of booking to secure your placement on a course.

1.3 Balance Payment: The remaining balance of £100.00 must be paid in full prior to the start of the first session. 1.4 Incomplete Payments: If total fees are not paid in full before the conclusion of the 4th (final) session, Atlas reserves the right to mark the course as incomplete. In such circumstances, a Certificate of Completion will not be issued, and notification of completion will not be uploaded to the court/DVSA database.

2. Rescheduling & Participant Cancellations

2.1 Notice to Reschedule: If you need to reschedule your course dates, you must notify Atlas at least 30 days prior to the original course start date. Reschedules requested outside of this window will incur no financial penalties.

2.2 Late Cancellations: If you cancel your booking within 30 days of the course start date, no refunds (deposit or balance) will be issued.

2.3 Non-Attendance ("No-Shows"): Failure to attend any scheduled session without prior notification adhering to Section 2.1 will result in forfeiture of all fees paid. Re-booking onto a future course will require a new full booking and fee payment, subject to availability before your court-appointed deadline.

3. Minimum Attendance & DVSA Cancellation Policy

3.1 DVSA Statutory Requirements: In accordance with Department for Transport and DVSA guidelines governing online DDRS delivery, each course must maintain a minimum threshold of 4 participants.

3.2 Atlas Course Cancellation: If a scheduled course has fewer than 4 confirmed attendees booked by 21 days prior to the course start date, Atlas is legally required by DVSA rules to cancel the course.

3.3 Remedies for DVSA Cancellation: In the event Atlas must cancel a course under Section 3.2, Atlas will issue a full 100% refund (including the deposit) or offer a fee-free transfer to another available course date. Atlas accepts no liability for secondary losses incurred as a result of mandatory regulatory cancellations.

4. Online Delivery Requirements (Zoom)

4.1 Technical Setup: Participants are strictly responsible for maintaining a reliable internet connection, working webcam, and microphone for the duration of every session.

4.2 Camera & Environment: Webcams must remain turned on and your face fully visible throughout all live modules. Virtual backgrounds are prohibited. You must attend from a quiet, private location free from interruptions or third parties.

4.3 Identity Verification: Valid government-issued photo identification (e.g., Passport or Photocard Driving Licence) must be produced at the beginning of each session.

4.4 Sobriety & Conduct: Atlas enforces a zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol or drug impairment during sessions. Trainers reserve the right to remove any participant exhibiting disruptive behaviour or suspected of being under the influence without refund.

5.1 Strict Prohibition on Recording: Audio recording, video recording, screen recording, taking screenshots, or photography of any live Zoom session, course material, trainer, or participant is strictly prohibited.

5.2 Privacy Protection: This prohibition protects the privacy and confidentiality of all attendees and ensures compliance with UK privacy laws.

5.3 Breach & Dismissal: Any attempt to record, capture, or distribute course content or attendee imagery will result in immediate removal from the course, forfeiture of all fees, and immediate marking of the course as failed/incomplete.

6.3 Statutory Sharing with Regulators: By registering, you acknowledge that Atlas is legally required to share your completion status, attendance logs, and relevant personal details with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and the referring court.

6.4 Data Retention: Personal records will be securely retained only for as long as required by UK law and DVSA regulatory auditing guidelines, after which they will be securely destroyed.
